  • Belief: This date is followed by another sect which believes Gayatri Jayanti falls on the Ekadashi of the Shukla Paksha during the Jyeshtha month, based on Vedic calendars.

Why Are There Two Dates for Gayatri Jayanti? 

The reason Gayatri Jayanti has two different dates is that identifications made within different religious communities stem from one deity being associated with two different biological cycles of the moon.
